Hello Osu! Community,

I believe the performance point (PP) ranking system should be removed for the following reasons:
- The PP ranking system acts as a p2w (Play to Win) perspective. I'm sure that most of you have already known by now. A rhythm game is meant to be played for fun, not just by comparing your rank to other players.
- Because of this, there will most likely be toxicity and drama that comes around.
- It's another reason why some people quit this game after years and years of playing.
- About 80% of this community are seriously engaged in pp that restricts them from playing any other kinds of maps, while many others are only focusing on ranks instead of enjoying the map with others.
- With the PP system removed, this gives a chance for newer players to join the osu community. It makes everyone feel motivated in playing maps that are beyond their limits. People are more likely to play maps that are longer than maps that are only a minute and thirty seconds long.
- While it creates this diverse selection of maps, everyone in multiplayer lobby will be more filling and so will the whole community. This gives a chance for players to meet and easily make friends with a vast majority of random players.
- No one will have to pissed off about one song that frustrates them. Instead, it creates a different mindset that makes the game feel more lighthearted. It's not always about full combo regardless of accuracy.
- I do like how the "Loved" category was invented for players to directly compete one another without having to worry about pp, but the "Ranked & Approved" category made everyone take pp too seriously.
- PP system does act as part of player's skill, but it doesn't accurately represent the whole player itself.
