The answers... they are beautiful
A lot of cakes these days seem to just take the pastry straight from the cake they last made and put different icing on it.

Nowadays, the tiny strawberry on top contains all of the entertaining parts of the beatmap - and yes, that means that the fact that few cakes have strawberries on them represent how few entertaining beatmaps there are these days. The frosting is the prettiness done to make it look like the mapper put actual effort into their map. The actual cake itself represents the amount of the map that is just a bunch of random streams and jumps that use extremely generic rhythms - because they copied these from other maps - to the point where I only need the hitsounds on to do well because the music itself doesn't really matter.
