[Archived] I lost ranks from an SS

I recently played a map with HD, DT, HR, and PF. Tillerino said no mod would be 6pp, and owo bot said I should have recieved 29pp. But I lost 300 ranks from this play. I am confused (this is my only rank on this map)

pp is weighted and so you might of loss pp for getting a play too low in pp to negatively effect you. For more info check the wiki: https://osu.ppy.sh/help/wiki/Performance_Points

Your lowest pp play that you can get some pp from is 28pp

You can't lose pp from getting a SS. The only way to lose pp is if, after already having a score in the same map with the same mods, you get a score with higher score but with significantly lower accuracy and/or miss count and/or maximum combo compared to your previous score.

The drop in ranking is just because some other people beat their total pp amount, but the rank doesn't update until the player submits a score.
