My first Beatmap. need help!!

So I played about almost a month and now i decided to try making a beatmap.
Artist: 栗林みな実 Minami Kuribayashi
Song title: Unripe Hero
album: mind touch
also OP 2 for the anime Blassreiter
I already did 1min 30secs of the song & i plan on doing the whole song..anyway.. my questions are( cuz the tutorials were still confusing to me )

what do i hear for when finding the beat? ( i always listened and followed the bass drum beat. going 1/4 session)
when timing; is there a way to have 2 beats.. ( like how first the beat goes fast then to slow )
is it best to have a beat with the vocals. ( i more of the bass being hit than a vocal beat T_T )

oh and if anyone can tell me if my BPM & offset are wrong please let me know... sorta tough xD BPM: 140.52 offset: 6,121

i plan on 2 other songs ( that i also started) but for i wanna finish this one...

what do i hear for when finding the beat? ( i always listened and followed the bass drum beat. going 1/4 session)
Follow what fits for the song (piano, drums, vocal, everything, but try not to change follow very often , it's quite confusing)

If rhythm is not really various (often in techno music) then you can follow vocal, but it's sometimes harder to follow vocal than bass etc.

Whatever the beat is of the song if you're talking about timing.

If you mean multiple timing sections yeah, just create an uninherited section, however do this only if the timing of the song changes, for just speed changes there's inherited timing sections.

Mapping to the instruments is better since they have consistent rythm, you can swap mid map but just remember to use new combo when you're switching what you're following
