What is the most efficient way to map for ranked?

The most efficient way of getting a ranked map is not trying to rank your first maps. They won't be good enough. Just map more and get feedback, you'll get good eventually.

So this is my first time mapping and my first map that I started working on. Any tips and help would be appreciated in regards to what I am doing wrong or should try before I continue mapping would be appreciated. Thank you
