Is transitioning from red to blue switches alright?

Because I need a keyboard for my laptop and my red switch keypad isn't a keyboard obviously, my keypad is an outemu red. Im planning to buy the gigaware k28 which is a keyboard and a blue switch. I chose this because it's almost the same price of my keypad.

I don't know if this is a good idea or not, but can someone tell me if it is?

Reds to blues is fine, you'll take a little while to adapt but after that you'll hardly notice and you might even appreciate the tactility.

re: that keyboard specifically:

If you google for gigaware k28 reviews, you can see that it uses "content" branded switches and doubleshot ABS keycaps. Also the USB cable appears to be soldered straight into the board instead of being detachable. There isn't a lot of information about those switches online.

edit: I think I found the manufacturer's page for these switches. They look like offlabel Outemus, and the box around the stem is being billed as "dust proof", rather than a stabilizer.

If these are just house brand Outemus, then they probably have a similar force curve to Outemu blues, but that stabilizer(?) added to the stems means they're likely to feel a little different from Outemu blues. Quality control on this board is a big question mark: It's a bargain board using offlabel switches. It might be fine, it might not.

Here's links to Outemu red and Outemu blue force curves:

Outemu blues take about 25% more energy to actuate than Outemu reds, so if these Content switches are the same, they'll feel a bit heavier than your reds when you're streaming or playing long maps. Outemu blues also have a deeper actuation point (+0.6mm) than Outemu reds, which is generally a bad thing as it takes a little longer for the key to register when you press it. They're clicky, so they might be a bit noisy. On the bright side, they're also tactile, so you'll get to feel the actuation point, which can help with accuracy.

Would I buy one of these keyboards? Maybe, if it was dirt cheap and I wanted a TKL board with blues. (I'd expect that the switches might be scratchy, though. Those ABS caps will develop a shine over time, and the non-detachable USB cable is a bit disappointing, but it's an inexpensive board, right?) If it's not defective when it ships, it'll probably be fine.
