Clarification for this rule would be nice:
Use the metadata of a song as is without adding any additional markers, such as Full Version and the likes. If your track is a mashup or something among those lines, use whatever the artist supplies while paying respect to proper English syntax rules.
Does this mean we should remove tags like "Long Ver." or "Full Ver." from songs that naturally have this tag as part of their official metadata? Examples : https://osu.ppy.sh/b/1747965?m=2 , https://osu.ppy.sh/s/432822 , https://osu.ppy.sh/s/456691 , https://osu.ppy.sh/s/754464
Or does the rule just mean that if i'm mapping the full version of Tia - Deal with the Devil, that I can't call it "Deal with the Devil (FULL VERSION)"? Because if this is the case, shouldn't something like this be unrankable anyways by virtue of it not being any more of a credible source than "Deal with the Devil (youtube2mp3 version)"? Either case is not official.
I think the original intention of this rule when proposed by Ephemeral, was to just remove all of these "Full Version" tags. The reasoning was basically that the lack of a "TV Size" marker already implied that the song was a full version. Possible change: Use the metadata of a song as is without adding any additional markers, such as Full Version and the likes, unless these markers exist naturally in official sources. If your track is a mashup or something among those lines, use whatever the artist supplies while paying respect to proper English syntax rules.
