[resolved] My left key will not register

I need help PLEASE



ok so for the last month or two i literally could not stream (like using both fingers) I had been getting better at it until on day every time i tried I would miss half of it.
current day and i got extremely frustrated; i felt as if my keyboard or something didn't work. So i did a typing test remembering when i clicked q & w (keys i use dont hate pls) I typed the words out with little to no problem. After giving up with my keyboard i went and play some random map. For whatever reason instead of using my right finger to click my eight key i used my left (I use my right finger to tap) After missing every note i sat there in disbelieve, so i tried again, and again, and again... sooner or later i switched back to my normal key and hit every note like i should've done the first 3 tries.

I went to the settings menu to see everything in place like it should; everything bounded correctly (like my buttons for clicking) Completely hopeless i switched my keys to z & x still nothing, missed all of the notes like last time

This is probably the weirdest bug if ever seen, if someone can please help me with this that would be amazing then i can finally play this god forsaken game

Press F10 or enable the "disable mouse buttons in play mode" option in osu!'s settings (they both do the same thing).

didn't work for me
I've also had mouse buttons disabled before and i never had this problem

update:
So i tried with AP mod and for whatever reason both keys work perfectly fine
but in normal play, my left key is broken

Can you enable the key overlay and just double check to make sure the game doesn't think you have a mouse button held down? That's exactly what this issue looks like, there really isn't anything else that would cause this behavior.

And AP probably works because you aren't aiming. I'm assuming you are using a tablet and you drag. Most tablets have the tip set to mouse 1 by default.

Uh. Not sure what you did if disabling mouse buttons didn't do anything initially, but I'm glad you figured it out.
