I've seen threads like this but they seem pretty old, so I'm starting a new one.
I was having issues with running osu, so I uninstalled and re-installed it. On first run it will go through my songs and for 90% of them it will give me the message "Error while processing Songs\[songname]" I'd like some way to fix this cause I don't want to re-download 100 songs.

it poped up an error message, if I click ok it will continues on, but it won't load those songs
also, I really don't want to download 100 or so songs

Then it should mean you download it as a RAR file instead of how it should be
EX:

It should be something like this

You could fix this by having the program to change the rar files & you wouldn't have to redownload all of them.
http://www.win-rar.com/download.html It's free & easy to use.

they aren't *.rar files, and they worked fine last time I played osu

the files are corrupt, or perhaps just completly empty, either way I'm gonna have to download 100 or so songs

actually, I think it might be some permission errors

hey, it works if I run as administrator

so, by changing the permissions on all the files it seems to be fixed
