As the title says if you are debating between red switches and speed switches(silver) I will share my personal experience with both.
Ok so I'm a fairly new player to osu almost two months now but can pass 5* maps and I've been using speed switches for both of these months. My main problem was my consistency so I decided I wanted a new keyboard to see if the speed switches were the source of my inconsistency so I switched from a Corsair k70 rapid fire to a Hyperx Alloy FPS Pro (red switches).After literally 2 days of playing my tapping drastically improved as well as my consistency and overall the tapping/typing felt way better and more stable.Not to mention that my stamina was better,so if you are looking to buy one of the two I would definitely suggest picking red switches
