Mostly of the Osu! community are composed by HDDT farmers and im sure there rare occasions that they make a great Nomod or Mod X play... but that great play wasn't enough to beat his top ranks, so it's barely forgotten... other example is: imagine that you take a look in the top ranks from a random players, then you saw only HDDT scores and the vision you have from this player is, "Oh... he's an HDDT farmer... nothing special" and this makes you unable to see his hidden potential. This "Nothin Special player" can have great skills for other mods and the only you can see is his HDDT's performance on the top ranks... (Example: HT, FL, EZ players)
My suggestion is to add a button in the Top Ranks userpage, to filter the top ranks by Mod X or Nomod, it would help to see the real single skill potential for each Skill/Mod X... and would help even yourself to don't forget the great moments that once was out from the top ranks
