Small note: I think it's mandatory to use the 'inherit timing settings' flag when changing sound samples/sample volume.

After alot of epic work over irc, and some creative fixing... I see no reason why this couldn't be ranked.
Silent sections are now just (really quiet), but i never had a problem with them anyways. Great job, and great map Larto.
