You wake up in a wheelbarrow that seems to be working, and it is filled with supplies.
It seems to be moving and then it stops, it seems to be carried by... a raven? Not just any raven, it's human size and it's shaped like a human, but it has feathers like a raven. This isn't right. You must be dreaming. This all feels so... real for some reason.

You get out of the wheelbarrow and find a sage and a small dwarf.

"Oh, there you are!" The raven says.

"What's going on, and why am I here?" I say.

"There was a massive fire in your village, and you didn't wake up, so we brought you to safety." The raven says.

Well, that explains why you were sleeping, but you don't know whether to believe the raven, but you can't remember anything else, and who knows how long they've been travelling, it might be too long of a journey back, so it looks like you're staying with them.

"By the way, what is your name?" The raven asks.

Wait, what was your name again?

(This is where you come in, what is the human's name?)

Through the magic of random names, and Achromalia's idea, I, well, have names for the other characters.

"Wilford, my name is Craig, the sage is named Heather, and the dwarf is named Roy. In case anybody tries to take our stuff, I am experienced in bows, so I can do ranged attacks, Heather can do well with an army of enemies, and the dwarf is more experienced in survival. Just make sure he has enough to drink, nothing good comes out of a sober dwarf. Unless he's injured, then give him fresh water until he recovers. We're setting up a base here, do you wanna help?" The raven asks.

What will you do?

Help with the base.
Explore the world around you, there must be something useful.
Check the supplies, there's probably something important.

since exploring means that you're looking for something,and there could be something useful for the base, i'll check the supplies, see if anything useful comes up.

What supplies am I checking? Are they with us?

I'd assume so, if that's the case, check the supplies for a quick minute so I know what to use when, then help out with the base immediately afterwards.

You then help out with the base, it's not much, but it works, and you spent a few hours on it, then some bandits approach, you let them know, and they draw their weapons, Craig gets his steel sword, the others get a flint axe, and you get a flint pickaxe, this isn't looking well for you.

"That'll teach them not to attack our base!" Craig says.

You feel tired after all that fighting, and go and take a nap, then you wake up and decide if you want to try building an extra room in the base, or try to use that pickaxe you have.

I'd rather search for more useful materials, I'm not sure if mining would do the trick. What would I mine for?

To continue building the base, we'd still need to make sure we have all the proper materials.

...Honestly, if you're going to build a base, it's a good idea to stick by it until it's done.

Let's try to continue building and fortifying the base.

You help with the base, while Roy helps gather wood for building the base, and then...

Skill level up!

Woodcutting: Level 1 -> Level 2

Skills are things you or other people can do as hobbies, they can be leveled up to 99 if you play long enough.

Heather suggests to explore outside of the base while Craig and Roy can guard the base. You don't have much else to do, so why not?
