Shader effects timing and other effects [invalid]

So I was thinkint that when shader effects are on, they appear at 30 combo, 60 combo, and go on, but sometimes that BIG effect comes in an unsifignificant time, and it would be better in other times like the end of a combo, or resuming from a break. Also, there should be the opposite of kiai time: in wich the notes and the background become darker, or the notes come earlier (like in the easy mod, but same size). So what do you think?

Name it like you want, its just an idea for slower parts of the songs (i was also thinking about making the background black and white). Also, i know that if this idea wants to go somewhere, peppy has to know about it. Tell him if you can. If you have your own ideas, please tell us, dont be shy!

In my opinion, this is what good storyboarding is for - don't feel like there needs to be a shader for this. >_>

Well said, but lets at least make possible to change the combo colors by part, like you can do with BPM or sounds. What do you think?

Combo colours CAN be changed. It just requires loads of manual combo colouring.

Exactly, lets say you want a diferent color set for each song on a 10 min marathon. Even I would give up and just use 1 :(

But I think we have been mislead, the first topic is the shader effects timimg, the other are just other ideas.
