It's a new forum feature. You can now see which threads were deleted. I'm sure this was added upon popular request

Deleting a thread in the new forum deletes the thread but not the post.
The post still being there causes the old forum to still show the topic. But when you click on it the thread doesn't exist and it throws that error.
There is one way out and that is sending a post-deletion link to the person in question:
When the person clicks it, the post is deleted and the thread is no longer shown in the old forum.
Also funny trivia, as GMT can't use the old web anymore, you can spam as many dead threads into the old forum as you like and none will notice except for the few users of the old forum who will be annoyed as heck and hate you from the bottom of their hearts. but this is a trap, I'll report you and bring you down - the fun thing is that everyone in the new forum can read this because webcolor bbcodes aren't implemented for the new site so none's going to fall into it and it is pretty much a reverse trap. Combined with this lengthy explanation the trap almost unstealthed itself already though so it is almost pointless. Oh brave new forum that has such features in it!

Joke's on you, I was about to quote selection but discovered something even better. I did not suspect a thing prior to these hidden spoils.
I already had written chapter 8 and I accidentally posted it and deleted it afterwards
