I had to have 4 of my teeth removed just because they couldn't fall by themselves and I have been having various braces and retainers for 4 years now; I have never had a cavity even once.

Over the course of my entire life, I have never kept good care of my teeth.
But I've also never had a cavity or any form of dental problems, except that my adult incisors split my baby ones when they grew out, making me lose half a tooth at a time (they pulled the last 2 out of 4 since they were worried about infections or something, i was 10 whatever).
My teeth are badass by training.
