Coming straight from an era where storyboard gimmicks were starting to take off using crazy songs, Kakinchu no Uta is a much more tame song from the community’s beloved singer, Nanahira. It introduces the gimmicks very neatly, slowly and is not too hard for people who begin in the storyboard gimmick world. Other introductions made in it are the usage of Hidden and HardRock mods within the beatmap. It’s something I personally love both for the fact that it defies the trope of “crazy songs = gimmicks”, and for the way it was made. Let’s just say that aabc271 really excelled themselves!
