omg thanks for a mod,it was great <3Niva wrote:
Hi IceBeam~ Found this through your profile :3 hi :3
[General]
-> Hmm, you already have 500ms delay to your first note, so I think lead-in time 1.5 seconds is enough... sure
-> In my Windows Explorer the .mp3 is still 224 kbps while the max. limit is 192 kbps, reduce it to 192? true .-. I'll handle this a bit later
-> Also, (optional) as you said in the thread, add "trance" to the tags (there are more than four pages of beatmaps ranked with "trance" in tags xD) why not
[Easy][Hard]
- 00:00:504 (1,2,1) - Hmm, add whistle on every slider's end would sound nice here xD - it's fine if you want to keep the silence here, though~ yep, tried them before and now with lower volume but still I think they don't make these notes sound better, thus I didn't add them
- 00:09:235 (2,3) - Not sure if this rhythm is beginner-friendly enough... Perhaps use a repeating 1/2 slider on 00:09:011? (soft-hitsample on the slider's beginning and use normal hitsample on the rest) yeah, that's a problem..I'll think of your suggestion
- 00:13:041 (3) - (optional) Not sure about this one... Maybe you can curve this encircle 00:14:832 (1) to make this part neater? It won't break the flow with your previous (2) imo... curved 00:13:041 (3) in a better way
- 00:17:071 (4) - Also with this one, curve this to the opposite direction (downward) instead? Flows better with your next (1) imo it might sound weird but I don't want to curve both 00:20:205 (2) and 00:22:444 (2) in one derection xD otherwise it'd work, yeah
- 00:32:742 (1) - Minor stuff, but move the midpoint one grid right to encircle the previous slider's end better (unless this is intentional, but I doubt it somehow xD) I think I moved though not sure if you even notice the changes
- 00:38:115 (3,4) - (optional) I think it will flow better with your previous (2) if these two (and its following notes) are placed a bit more to the left like this:
left mine- 01:00:056 (4) - Eh... Is it intentional to curve this slider like this? Using one waypoint will make this slider curve much more naturally imo... (even deleting your first and third waypoint without any further modification already gave a natural curve here) again I tried but could make a one-waypoint slider that would overlap in a good way
- 01:14:384 (4) - (optional) Hmm... I personally feel the bass on 01:14:832 should be mapped also... Perhaps split this as a 1/1 slider + note 1/1 after? leaving it as it is because I like how pattern looks :3
- 01:23:339 (2) - Same as above... ^ + don't really want to make a straight 1/1 rhytm
- 01:30:504 (2) - The slidertick isn't in the center, is it intentional? (barely noticeable though) fixed
- 01:56:921 (3,4,1) - (optional) You might want to create a gradual volume increase here for all the finish sounds, 40 -> 45 -> 50 -> 55 -> 60 should do fine (as long as the starting volume isn't too low) done
- 02:05:877 (1) - Hmm, I don't quite get why the slider is curved like this... imo this could be improved by using a tilted slider wave (if you think it's too extreme to face this slider upward, face this to the left is fine as well)
again I try not to make more than 2 sliders in the same direction- 02:09:459 (1,2,1) - Same suggestion about the gradual volume increase here (: yup!
Great map, mostly are just suggestions ^^
- 00:00:504 (1,6,8) - Pretty much same as [Easy] here, few whistles here could spice up the opening instead of being plain unhitsounded (: same reply~
- 00:06:772 (6) - (optional) I don't think it's the time to go too hectic yet here. Probably delete this note to form doubles? Would give more variation to the rhythm imo as well (: I doubt that hitting doubles is any easier xD I left it,though a really nice suggestion
- 00:17:406 (9) - Remove this clap? I think it's quite out of place, plus removing this clap could emphasize your next two claps xD hm..I kept it so far
- 00:23:675 (6,7) - I think it would flow better if (6) is curved downward like this, and (7) is dragged rightward a bit:
looks nice, though I've tried to keep outdated style in this map xD- 00:29:608 (3) - Hmm, I feel it's quite weird to use a slider tick to follow the synth here. Break this apart as a 1/2 slider followed by circle 1/4 after? true a little weird, though I like it T_T leaving it just because of comfortable spacing
- 00:32:966 (2,4) - (optional) You can curve (2) downward a bit and (4) upward a bit, so they will look antagonistic. Looks fancy imo~ again just for outdated style needs :3
- 00:39:906 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - idk... I don't think this part should be too streamy like this, as the song haven't got crazy with 1/4s yet here. Removing (2) follows the synth better imo but then my stream-rhytm would be broken for a bit :/
- 01:02:742 (3,4) - Move (4) 1/4 later and a circle in between? (there's a note to follow on 01:03:190 as well) not a big fan of missing downbeats, yeah, but made this to folllow previous pattern's rhytm + vocals
- 01:16:399 (3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - (optional) Would look better if symmetrical imo:
okay, tried to imrpove it- 01:31:847 (1,2,3) - (optional) You can add a slight curve (preferably to counterclockwise direction) for all, to beautify this pattern ^^ for sure! though again trying to match with the overall "style"
- 01:40:130 (4) - Add clap here? You've done the same hitsound pattern on 01:36:772 (4), I think it's better to continue that pattern here as well I'm mixing the clap's position every loop :3 so I followed 01:33:190 (4,5) rhytm
- 01:42:593 (1,2,3,4,1) - Same as [Easy] about the gradual volume increase done
- 02:05:877 (1) - Remove whistle here? I think it will be overused if a whistle is used here as well... it sounds a bit out of place,I agree, but I kept the rhytm of 01:50:205 (8,9,10,11,12,13,1) -
- 02:11:250 (1,1,1,1,1) - Gradual volume increase~ yay
I think some modders will complain about the manual-stacking on Reiji's Normal, but actually they plays great for me~
Good luck, IceBeam (:
