Does a cursor trail actually help, or is it just purely cosmetic, and even distracting at times? I'm kinda struggling between whether or not to use a skin with a cursor trail, and any comments would be helpful. Thanks!

It helps you see the cursor and follow its movements easier, especially if you have a small cursor. Basically, if your cursor is big, it doesn't really matter, but if your cursor is small, use it. Don't use the longer version of cursor trail though (it's too long), just use the shorter one that you get without cursormiddle.png.
