Some people say that if you have salt in water its just there and you cant filter it out or boil it, so you can't drink it. Some say that you can boil it then drink it... Really salt can or cannot be separated in water?!

Today on SciShow: Can you seperate abraker and OT?

You just have to let the water evaporate. Salt doesn't evaporate so it'll stay in the container.

And just like that we are left with more questions than answers.

Is abraker inseparable from OT?
Why did it take 2 edits to ask this question?
What was the unedited post?
Is Flanster gay?

if you can separate salt from water by boiling it, then you could survive if you ever get stuck in a island with only the ocean around you?
please i need to know if Mao-chan will survive to ever see Hina-chan and Anzu-chan :(

As I konw, using evaporation, freezing, and Reverse osmosis. You can get nearly pure water.
Google 'seawater desalination', you may get some useful information.

Most likely been answered like 3000 times, but I could do with using my brain. Simply put, get the salt water and place it in an evaporating basin. Evaporate it under a Bunsen burner or whatever you use where you are, and all that will remain is the salt.

So where comes the part where you explain how to evaporate water with your brain?
