Since there are *some* people on IRC who might care about this, I'm putting up a thread.
Nullbreaker is a breakout game I'm developing alone. So what's so special about it...?
Well, here's a list of main features:
- Achievements
- Leaderboards
- Lots of awesome power ups
- Built-in level editor
- DLC
New version aims to implement those features as well:
- Fluid environment
- Story mode
Many of you (including ppy) know the story of it being approved by VALVe to Steam, then dropped out due to my lead programmer being a lazy bum. Well, Nullbreaker was long dead for 2 years. Now, it's time to get it back alive. Old version was being developed in nightmare language called GML. Its engine was written in... Delphi. Yeah, I know. Performance was horrible etc. Even UI couldn't keep up to 60 fps.
Right now, I'm writing Nullbreaker's code from scratch in C#/XNA 4/FlatRedBall.
So! In this thread, I'll keep everyone posted on the progress!
