With the new update (Cutting Edge) it was added a function that BG doesn't undim automatically in breaks as it used to do, is there a way to deactivate that? I like to see backgrounds :/

I don't believe so. You can try setting your dim to 99%. Otherwise you can change back to Stable for now, but assuming no other changes are made, this will eventually be pushed out to there too.
