Hey.
Well, you see. I'm making the normal diff of a map I'm doing and when I finish the first half, the star diff says ''4,47'' and when I fill up the other half... it increases... How do I fix that? It's going to get on insane even if I don't want to T-T

The map is: I'll Face Myself -Battle-

I hope you can help me (and that I posted this in the right place ._.)

Are you trying to map the difficulty until the end? You might as well try to map it up until the end and see if the star difficulty rating decreases. If it doesn't, I'll see what I can do with modding that map.

I noticed some tri-note streams there, you might want to consider removing the 2nd note.

Besides difficulty option, number of 1/2,1/4,etc rythim, spacing inconsistencies, and distance of spacing also affect star rating.
If you are using a lot of 1/2 rythim in normal diff or even add 1/4, that will gradually increase star rating. If you want to decrease it, try removing some note that consist 1/2 and 1/4 rythim and decrease the spacing distance. I'm sure your star rating will decrease :)

When this happens, I try to replace circles with sliders or flat out reduce the number of circles. If you're using a lot of jumps, then this would have a profound effect on star rating. In [Normal], there should only be a few slight jumps, if any.

For what it's worth, if your maps don't play anything like ranked maps, then there's a good chance that they're poor. Taking ideas from decent maps is a good way of making sure that the difficulties play as they should.

Okay... it's starting to decrease. I already finished half of it, so in the other half, it should be at least in 3 stars or 3 and a half. Thnaks for the help and sorry for making this useless topic T-T... I just needed to keep doing it XD
