Hey, today my cursor started "magnetizing" to sliders and changing sensitivity inside of a slider so I don't run off of it... how do I stop this from happening? its very disturbing because all my muscle memory is "broken" with this, its like im fighting with my mouse. All help would be appreciated.

No such thing exists. Maybe you should consider cleaning your mouse pad or the bottom of your mouse. Sounds like sensor issues to be honest.

I thought of that myself, I cleaned my mousepad and my mouse sensor, nothing changed. Then proceeded to use a different mousepad with a different mouse, same thing! I've seen about 3 or 4 posts about this subject of people experiencing the same problem, but or A-it got no solution, or B-people would call the ones with the problem uninformed, delusional or liers. This *IS NOT* a placebo, I played osu for 40H in 4 days, never experienced this, and when i was switching songs BOOM it happened, I tried raw input, changing resolution... Nothing helped, everytime i start a slider, i can just draw a straight line, the cursor will follow, or try to follow as much as possible the slider.

Reinstall your mouse's drivers? When you are moving your cursor to a note, you don't have a specific path you need to travel. This behavior is probably constant but it's not extremely obvious because you have no set track to compare your cursor movement to when moving to a normal note, whereas you do with a slider.

reinstalling the drivers actually worked, thank you very much! I still think its strange how or why the mouse would follow exactly (like I stated before, like a magnet) the sliders... It almost looked like I had some sort of Aimbot.

EDIT: It just happened again, i reinstalled the drivers again and its ok again. (this happened twice already). So... If you have an idea of how to fix this permanently I would appreciate it, I mean... I could live like this, its just not very practical. Still trying to understand how the drivers affect osu! directly so it "aimbots" the sliders... so weeeeird.

Why bump this thread when you've already created one? Please bump your own next time instead of some random one.

Apparently I didn't see the edit on the last post after it was resolved 4 months ago. Maybe it's safe to assume it "magically" fixed itself within the past for months for Rokdoom? I don't know what the issue with your drivers are unfortunately. Since reinstalling them fixes the issue, I'm not sure what else to say.

it happens when enhance pointer precision is disabled in windows advanced mouse settings, had the same problem, but figured it out myself just now. Tech should've field tested and gave you a professional reply instead of d-riding the game. Anyway hope this helps for anyone who looks at this thread.
