I feel there should be a runner-up pick, and and it should have maps that almost made it, but in the end didnt, and the players could get just 1 loved

For some maps like Avalanche I don't get why this has to be a loved map. It's almost the same but with wider jumps.
The Russian one is pretty simple but I get the idea of dancing jumps that spin around the board.
This yuri on ice where there is literally a dick drawn throughout the whole map is an insult and I have no idea how this even allowed or featured here or anywhere on this page for that matter.
Maradjatok is nothing but a jump practice map. Most of those arent ranked and I dont see why this map should be different.

As for the snake stream maps - well I hate them to begin with because it's nothing but spamming your keys as fast as you can with a constant bpm. ...No idea how this reflects the nature of a "rhythm" game but whatever. I miss interesting and creative entries.

The ones I see here are jump training, snake stream spam maps aka not-a-rhythm-game-map and map by some 12y old who likes to draw genitals everywhere. very amusing. haha. funny. xd.

Revolutionary Etude looks interesting.
Ultramarine looks quite boring. Only the large jumps are what give the map anything intense or interesting and that's mildly interesting.
heiju-do looks quite nice and the　1-2　slider are fun. +1
avalanche is as I said just a less creative version of the one we got a month ago. The only difference is way too wide jumps and accelerated slider movement as well as higher AR. Didn't know stretching maps resolution could count as actual mapping but who am I to judge professionals. ha.
Lyoshka, like I said nice and simple jump dance, fitting to the theme. makes you feels like you dance with them to the song. +1
Die is ... well snake slider spam ala Road of Resistance. Just like with the jump practice maps this is nothing but a finger stamina practice map. Not an actual rhythm map. -1
Genital map should be slapped off this site. Not funny.
Megalovania looks very nice. +1! Creative and nice.
Maradjatok is a jump practice map. That's not creative.
glorious crown - streams again but a creative and different take on them, alternating between jumps and streams and making a xi map actually looks somewhat nice. good map but not my favorite.

the point of the loved section is promote community favourites, and all of the maps we've suggested are community favourites

all of the maps are voted on by the community, so if you don't like a map feel free to vote no! as you may notice, lots of people DO want maps like avalanche (seeing as it has a 95% approval rating)

loved is inherently divisive because truly entertaining maps are NOT for everyone! i personally don't like 'jump training' style maps, yet tons of other people do so we promote maps such as lyoshka and let the community decide whether they want them or not (aka the whole point of loved voting).

the way you talk about the maps shows you have little mapping or playing knowledge, so instead of posting rants with no actual suggestions i'd recommend you use the spreadsheet to submit notable maps that you'd enjoy seeing loved so everyone can be happy!

Wow, hey.

Sorry you don't like the selection much Fujiyama Panic, but the point of the Loved section is not to only grant the highest quality and most interesting maps a chance for a leaderboard, but instead to do that for maps that have received a significant community backing. As you can see by the % of people voting "yes" and the number of favorites these mapsets have, it's pretty clear that this is the case for all 10 of these maps.

Feel free to vote no for those you don't like! That's the entire point is that you can convince others why a map isn't a good fit for the category.
