"Top Ranks" in our profile page

I just noticed that peppy added this feature into player's profile page. Basically, it lists all beatmaps that the player scored #1 with (sorted by the time the player achieved that from latest to earliest).

My thought about this is that it could have been better off with separated page, since we would have to click on "Show me more" again and again to list all beatmaps (which would be tiring if the player has hundreds of #1 records. :P). Otherwise, it's a great "stalking" feature. Dohohoho~ :D

Of course, I went on "stalking" around :D
- "Cookiezi has a total of 729 top ranks!"
- "White Wolf has a total of 1226 top ranks!"

A tip for every "pro" : If you want to show off with the AMOUNT of #1 then go play easy and rank to #1. Pretty sure almost any more or less decent player can take #1 on easy in no time and there are tons of them out there.

That site and this feature have their own advantage and disadvantage, pretty much like Gomo Psivarh's "Replays watched by others" statistics site and our profile's "Replays watched by others" history graph on this site.

The feature on this site is updated realtime (so you can see that right away), but only limited to rank #1 on individual beatmap. Piotrekol's osuStats site is updated 2~3 weeks, but it can show up from rank #1 to #50.

For some reason, that pretty much resembles myself... :?

To add that, look around for 0 Spinners map for osu! Standard and CatchTheBeat mode, and try to get a "permanent" #1. Most of records on such beatmaps on osu! Standard mode is made by Gomo Psivarh. :D

i don't like to see i lose tops on my profile and easy scores are easier to lose :(.

Play normal or hard instead, since "mostly" people like cookiezi or WhiteWolf don't play them, there is no uber pro who will take it away and also you can play instead of basic (for normal) mods like hd+dt also dt+hd+hr which is also a sort of training.

its not cool anyways, taking tops from ww or cookiezi is more fun imo, unless its a cool fun difficulty



i used to like taking easy tops (not nessesary easy difficulties), but now i usually do on maps i like only :).

Thing is if you're not a top player you can't really get any top score from them, unless you do FL, or DT+HD on maps they topped in a single play anyways so they won't care.

A good tip Neruell would be to play non-asian music, since it's usually way easier to get top score there since asians don't play them, you got tons of random pop songs which can be DT'd in a single play easily and you can get top 3/4 like it's nothing, then add HD and the game over.

Well my "tip" was a meant to be sarcastic though since like almost everyone writes his amount here which is kinda weird (since what is more worth, having 200x#1 on easy or 50x#1 on insane's), and as for myself I mostly only try to go for #1 the hardest difficulty rather than going for easy/normal.

Here in top ranks you simply see top#1 nothing else. There you can choose what you wanna search for, acc, ranking -/-, mods, even pics of the maps you "find" etc. That's what I meant. You should know the difference way better than me though xD

Overally this gives me the impression of a lousy attempt of beating osustats. Would appreciate if peppy allowed piotrekol full unlimited access to scores updates, rather than this.

I think it should have an option to choose if you wanna show or not your top ranks. Personally I'm not interested in showing mine.
