lapix - Amazing Mirage (Extended) by Akali

Ever since he began mapping 5 years ago, Akali has been revered as a mapper who pushed player’s technical playing abilities with his “seXXXtra” branded mapsets. Over the past year or so there has been a new renaissance of Akali-branded technical mapping which has had an almost dominating influence on technical mappers, with Amazing Mirage really being the first step in my eyes towards this new ubiquotis style. With challenging rhythms, difficult 1/4 patterns and a bumpin’ track backing it all, this map treads the lines between playability and style perfectly, and in my eyes is peak Akali mapping.
