I ditched my speed a year ago pad because 11 years is a long time to keep one (bro got it for me when I was young and I had no clue about pads). I bought the control one because if it gets dirty or accumulates hand salsa it doesn't affect it much since its higher friction.

I use a steelseries 4HD http://steelseries.com/products/surface ... series-4hd, good comfort, easy to clean and not affected by sweat
