I definitely expected something along the lines of Kimi to Boku when first watching this (not a good sign, since that show sucked). However, I was pleasantly surprised, and definitely laughed a lot more than I thought I was going to.

I liked it but i think i would enjoy it more if it wasn't sketch based but one continuing slice of life story
There's no help that this series remind me so much of Gintama. But still the comedy is not as crazy Gintama

Some skits fall flat for me (like Convex Mirror Girl), others have a lame conclusion but gain points from the execution (School Traditions) and others are funny throughout (RPG). It's like acting out jokes, so even if one is bad, another one soon comes along. This series is a bit hit-and-miss, but I still like it.
Also I love when the guy with the glasses goes "IMOUTOOO!" whenever he sees black haired guy's sister. Speaking of, it weirds me out that her own brother would steal AND WEAR her bra.

This week was mostly lame, although I liked the ping pong game. The "summer activities" skit gave me a smile, but wiped it by the punchline. Hidenori's probably my favourite character. I like his internal monologues. Odd coincidence how he had a skit about a mole hair and his voice actor also did Kyon, though.
Not as good as the previous episodes but I agree with Sinistro it still made me smile. Funny enough the first president name I can think of is Obama too

This is one of the tolerable random genre animus for me. Unlike Nichijou, this show is well balanced on randomness and comedy; pretty much a similar tier like Arakawa under the Bridge but this one still can't beat AutB... currently

Well, it's been getting better again. 4 was pretty good, but 5 was very good throughout, and not just because of the return of Literature Girl (and Hidenori's epic monologuing skills). In fact, it's probably the best episode so far.
Its portrayal of girls is pretty negative most of the time, but I'll choose to believe it's a parody of the way boys are portrayed as less sympathetic than girls in the more prevalent female-centered slice-of-life anime (well, presumably; I've never actually watched one). Or perhaps it's how high school boys view girls during their confusing viewpoint transition from "eww, cooties" to "why am I getting a boner?"

5th episode is good, but I like 4th better.
The school festival is hilarious, it may be just me but the ghost house attraction they made is very creepy. Not to mention the student council (one sided) rivalry

Poor literary girl, they should give her a name already. The indoor adventure is quite funny, I like how Hidenori act as the bathhouse owner :>
My favorite skit was when Motoharu's sister and her friends bullied him. At the end when she said they were spending the night at their place his expression was priceless.
Another favorite was the one High School Girls are Funky skit where they told Karasawa to go die and ask why does he live so hard for (or something like that). Then he leaves and comes back and throws candy off the balcony. Then the two girls acted like wild animals growling while eating chocolate/sweets. xD
The episodes have not been as funny as the first couple ones unfortunetly, but still pretty entertaining.

I detest posting twice in a row in a thread but I wanted to say that this week's episode (11th) was pretty awesome in almost every respect. Gj, show.
Finally get to watch the 11th eps
Love the punchline on Hidenori's monologue, and the High school girl section is one of the funniest. The archdemon still hasn't lost her fangs

Sad to see it end. It was an almost consistently great show. I've heard they've aired almost all the manga material, though, so a second season in the foreseeable future is unlikely. That's too bad.
I definitely won't miss the feeling of embarassment I had when googling for "The Daily Lives of High School Boys online", however. If someone had ever peeked over my shoulder, I'd have had a Hidenori internal monologue for sure.
