amv's (anime music videos):
Umika (i don't know if it's not sensible to start off with a dead person, but she has always been an inspiration and the greatest editor of all time for me. her works are, in my opinion, unequaled and were important for the whole community <3 RIP umika
Azexous i'll keep it short with the amv people since most will probably not be too interested. he's my current favorite editor that is still active.
some other editors i love include: gregzanimationz/gregz77173/narutardedstyle, zero4real2, justrukia, lolligerjoj1, loosecontroipl, gorz or farmXD/farmMD, just to name a few

weeb:
RogerSmith2004 makes analytical videos of animes. very underrated.
That Japanese Man Yuta we're all weebs here, aren't we? well, he's a nice guy who mostly makes stuff like street interviews with japanese people so that you can get to know how they think / about their society.

mainstreamy / misc.:
Boyinaband makes videos about... well, everything. i found him through some songs but stayed because of... well.. everything. great personality. you probably have heard of him.
Jay Ray an independent artist. but he's far to unknown imho. i really like his music. and he cares a lot about his community and is really friendly. one time i used his song in a video of mine, instead of striking me he told me he liked it and asked me friendly whether i could fix his old artist name in a personal message. was so nice <3
TomSka well, you definitely know asdf-movies. yeah, that's the creator and he does really nice stuff overall. used to be more animation now it's more irl stuff, but fun guy.
TheMessianicManic okay, here it's getting a bit polarizing. he's an atheist youtuber who argues against the "truths" that religios people tell. in my opinion everyone has the right to choose what they believe. i just like his style of reasoning and his speech.
Thelaserbearguy basically similar to tomska but way more unknown. but about the same quality content <3

Michael Reeves combines very memey wacky ideas with coding skillz to produce funny results (you dont need to.know anything about coding to enjoy his videos but it helps you appreciate what he does better)

CaptainDisillusion Has been doing his thing for over 10years. just...go and watch any of his videos, the production value is just remarkable and makes you think why doesnt he have more subs

PravusGaming: Love his voice, and he plays games I like so double goodness.

Philip DeFranco: Fantastic at delivering news. My favourite part is how he makes a clear difference between facts and opinion.

Baka Oppai: Fantastic at creating AMV's, though maybe not the most active, the quality he produces is superb.

Clamavi de Profundis: Group that does some impressive vocals. No clue how to explain to looking it up is the way I suppose.

Vinesauce: he plays a lot of bad games which can be really funny. He also corrupts games so really funny things happen in them. He also writes his own music and posts it on a side channel and i personally like it a lot. besides that, he plays a lot of the newer games that come out and i can't afford to buy all of them so watching him live stream them is really nice

These days as far as personality youtubers go I only watch PewDiePie & Jacksfilms

I watch other channels regularly like PBS Spacetime, SciShow Space, Veritasium, Vsauce. But I don't know if science channels qualify.

Most of the time I end up on videos youtube suggests me anyway, sometimes I'll search for some Osu related stuff, sometimes I want to watch a speedrun but no channel I'd freqently watch for this stuff.

3. Fedmyster - A funny IRL twitch streamer that makes entertaining youtube videos.
