Problem Details:

Hello everyone, I recently upgraded my computer and formatted everything on it, then none of my Steam games would work yet my .osk files worked just fine. Once again, I formatted my computer and now my Steam works like a charm, but my .osk files aren't showing up as their usual pink icon, just a white page, when I click the file, instead of redirecting me to Osu! it just creates a pop-up stating that I have nothing on my computer to open the file, I have downloaded 7zip and WinRar and none work. Go ahead and ask any questions and I shall answer to the best of my ability, thank you in advance :).

osu! version: 20171225.2 (latest)

You need to specifically tell the file to open with osu!.

Windows 7: https://osu.ppy.sh/community/forums/topics/652642?start=6298134
Windows 10: https://osu.ppy.sh/community/forums/topics/652642?start=6298862

Steps should be similar if you are on Windows 8/8.1

TL;DR:
Right click on the file, open with osu!, set Windows to always use the selected program to open this file type.

I tried to do this but I do not see an "open with" option

Edit: Nevermind, I figured it out. Thanks, though :D

or App > Default Apps > Per file type (I have Windows in Italian so the translation might be different) > .osk

If it still doesn't work, please open a new topic
