I'd like there to be a second keybind set. 2 keybind sets would introduce a new style of gameplay and new pattern types like:
Double-note-trills:
--00
-00-
--00
-00-
--00
-00-
This type of pattern would be practically impossible with one keybind set (which is why it is incredibly uncommon to see a consistent pattern like this)
So how does a second keybind set help with this pattern?
Let's say that you'd have 2 sets set to ASDF and HJKL. You could primarily use AS and KL, which covers all of the lanes. If this pattern shows up, you could alternate your finger position in a way that you would use AS and JK (instead of KL). Repeatedly tapping with AS and JK will activate the first and second lane, then the second and third lane. This is a lot more effective than repeatedly spamming K and alternating A and L.
A second keybind would also introduce consistent patterns like:
--00
-00-
00--
-00-
--00
-00-
00--
-00-
--00
and
-000
000-
-000
000-
-000
000-
This could also be used to pull off repeated notes like this:
--0-
--0-
--0-
--0-
--0-
--0-
--0-
--0-
--0-
-because you could use D and K (instead of spamming K and eventually breaking your keyboard.)
I really want this feature added because alternating finger position would add some reeeeaally spicy gameplay in beatmaps
