TOO MUCH KIAI, and kiai sucks during spinners, so try to avoid that.
00:00:555 (1) - I really like these sliders a lot. Can you make the middle a double curve? Right now it's flat, and I think it would be better without that. http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/196369 obviously it may take a little more effort than that. Another minor thing I like to do is stick the red node exactly in the middle of the slider tick to give it that extra kick.
00:26:423 (1) - Personally when making spiral sliders I do this: Make them spiral inwards (and you did that on the second one which is good, so it's not important) and make sure you can see the slider border and/or the background in between. 00:28:848 (4) - might be too confusing for a normal? This particular distance snap was hard to read.
01:15:285 (1,1) - make these sliders similar?

00:28:578 (1,2,3) - I like what you did here, but you repeat this rhythm every single time. One thing I noticed you do is alternate patterns which is awesome. Can you make half of these sections [slider slider circle] instead of [circle short slider short slider]? Using the longer sliders puts the emphasis on the part you're actually trying to map (I think) and not the pickup (which is what the short sliders do).
00:43:668 (1) - this section again uses short sliders. I don't know what you're going to do in insane yet, but IMO this would be better with alternating [slider circle slider circle etc...].
01:03:788 (1) - not a fan of windmills. There's a lot of stacking involved in short places which hides things (like the fact that a note is a slider, or if it has a repeat).
01:09:537 (1) - depending on what you're going for here, I think a 6x repeat is kind of long (ie it has 8 points on it). The music goes up and down in 6 notes, so I think a 4x repeating slider (6 points) would fit better, though obviously be harder to read the first time.
01:26:782 (1) - I don't like the whistle spam here, it should probably only be on the red ticks or on the white ticks (choose one).

[insane]
00:17:081 (1,2,3) - fyi if you try the long slider trick with these, it's worse, so the short sliders are best here. One of the few times I prefer short sliders vs long sliders.

00:35:315 (2,3) - i really don't like these just because I always miss them :P
01:49:057 (1) - you could probably get away with jumpstreams in some sections like darri did it toccata and fugue.

I was wondering how you were going to make this one approval with such a short song...
03:11:490 - this section switches to 6/8 time signature, which you recognized, but osu sucks at this stuff (slider ticks are all messed up) so I recommend you decrease the BPM to 120, use slider velocity x1.333333 and put it in 3/4 time. Alternatively increase to 240 and put it in 6/4, and SV 0.666666666667x which will make the tick rate much faster.

keep in mind that the kiai and hitsounds are in ALL the diffs, so remember do it in them all if you do it in one.

  4. 01:26:782 (1) - too many whistles on this section, I suggest using claps on slider ends like your previous or leaving out the whistles on 01:27:141 (2) and following same pattern
  5. 01:32:531 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - maybe try leaving whistles off 2 and 4 for the spiral
  6. 01:35:405 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - if you did above then leaving off whistles on 2, 4, 6, 8 sounds nice

Insane:

  1. 00:25:704 (7) - random whistle?
  2. 01:02:890 (5) - ^
  3. 00:17:800 (1,2,3,4,5) - I really don't like how these three play, but that's just me
  4. 01:26:782 (1) - using lots of whistles on this part in this difficulty actually sounded a lot better since the earlier parts had more notes/sounds
  5. 01:33:968 (1,2,3,4) - switch 4 and 2? since the other 3 squares make you cross over
  6. 01:43:848 (6) - unstack?


Origin:

  1. 02:07:177 (3,4) - owww reduce spacing? rather start lower spacing then end higher

[Insane]
  1. 01:40:614 (7) - Maybe remove this note and put a whistle on the previous one? Sounds and plays better in my opinion. The only thing you need to watch out a bit is the spacing then, so move 5 and 6 a bit further up and right if you remove this note.
  2. 01:49:866 (1) - Finish here? This suggestion goes for all diffs (except origin). Actually you even have it in your easy haha.
[Easy]
  1. This diff has different kiai times than other diffs. I actually suggest to use this kiai time for other diffs (i.e. remove the short ones in other diffs) because I find it much better (instead of having kiai on spinners).
  2. 01:03:788 (1) - I think you're missing a finish here.
[Pheon's Taiko]
  1. I think you should lower the volume to 80% or 75% and use normal hitsounds instead. Soft ones will soon be forbidden I think, so it's best to change it already. Same applies to the other taiko diff as well.
  2. Since you're already changing some minor things, you should just make all timing sections use default sounds instead of custom. Same applies to the other taiko diff as well.
[52's Taiko]
  1. 00:03:069 (8,9,10) - I find these really confusing, especially cause the drum is 3/4 in the music, and you hear it before these. Maybe try mapping that drum instead?
Ask your taiko mappers what they want to do with this (I'll actually ask Pheon haha) and let's see what we can do!

Also, if you look at it, the pattern is quite the same as Black Rose Apostle's Ura Oni after the 2nd short pause. It's a homage to that, that's why it starts out with a k instead of a d on that as well.

I'm not sure why this would have to be changed, this seems fine by me. The first note of that beat (which you suggested into a big note) isn't accentuated, whereas the other 2 are.

00:46:363 (2,3,1,1,2,1,1,2,1,1,2,1,1,2,1,1,2,1,1,2,1,1,2,1,2,3,1,1,2,1,1,2,1,2,1) - Too long?Remove some Heheh, I knew this one was gonna come up. Actually, I think this is fine. There's only 1 of these in the entire song - only a single deathstream. The pattern is the same, it's not like it's exhausting to read. I chose for this stream because the music is looping at this point as well, it sounds fine like this. Also, I made sure to make a "resting point" after that stream. No 1/4ths for a while, mainly 1/1 and 1/2. I'd prefer to keep it this way.
01:59:117 (1,2,3) - Remove Sure thing, it seemed like a good way to end the map, but I know it can be frustrating if you're SS'ing the map and get a 100 on that.

Fixed those things on my diffs, dunno whats happening about taiko.

  1. Set default normal hitsounds and 70% volume to all timing sections. Since we're already adjusting the map to fit the new rules and guidelines that aren't here yet, this should be done, also it's silly to use custom hitsounds in taiko diffs, especially because they have no meaning and they bug for some people (like me).
