Request songs by voting which song is most wanted by everyone.
Then mappers would either choose to make the map or leave it.

This way no map would feel pressured by players requesting this song and players will be most likely to get the song they want the most.

And they would most likely leave it... and go map a song they like

There used to be a place where song a could be requested, and it went practically untouched by mappers

And it grew stale and old. Rumor has it, it is still abandoned, never to be seen by mapper nor player. To this day bored souls have ventured in search for this legendary place, looking from 1 to 116, only to get wasted time in return.
