You should reply to your original ranked topic saying you would like to post an updated version. Please do not change the original file, but attach the .osu to the forum post so we can check it out and make sure everything is OK before updating.
It is recommended that you don't make any changes that would change the final achievable score on existing versions, as well. If no such changes are made, the scores will not be reset.
