I got logged out of my osu! account when I opened the game and it turned out that my name had been changed on its own. I was wondering why it got changed and if it is possible to get my old name back.

osu! version: 20171106.5 (latest)

Best thing is to contact accounts@ppy.sh about it. Also tell them your old name.

Your name was inappropriate, and was changed. Contact the email above if you so wish, but I doubt much will be done considering the fact.
