can you do a right click and open them with osu!? does that work?
Maybe the main osu folder is actually in another hard drive?

or extract skin with winrar and move extract file to your osu!skin folder
Try dragging the .osk to in-game, simply putting it in the skins folder won't cut it, I guess.
