Why aren't there any dubstep beatmaps on osu!? I don't know if I'm getting the tags wrong or if this whole game is mainly otaku culture or something hehe

Because we have Nightcore and (I can't believe I'm saying this) its slightly less annoying.

There is quite a few dubstep maps, don't just search for 'dustep' in the [Beatmap] search up top.
Look in the Pending section as well.

- Noisestorm (yes it is counted as dubstep as well) - Shiirn did a few of these.
- Skrillex
- deadmau5
Dubstep is extremely difficult to map well. Its usually low bpm with pseudo bpms to make it seem faster. It also uses about every divisor ever. So its hard to read.

He is to some degree correct, the majority of the whole community are just a bunch of lolweeaboos, but there is a good amount of people with different tastes and interests, and also a more then big amount of non-vocaloid music.
I don't like vocaloid shit nor nightcore and other silly techno and whatnot, but i don't really mind it, i just refrain from actually listening to it.
