I am waiting for the fighter quite impatiently.
I was in that Livestream when it happened.
I've been looking forward to Fighting is Magic ever since they uploaded their first PreAlpha video.
I love Fighting Games with High Quality sprites and I love ponies
so I've been eagerly waiting for this game.
There are also a lot of fanmade MLP games
Most can be found here: http://www.equestriagaming.com/
But most of them are really mediocre and were just made for the kicks.

I really don't get why the MLP fanbase is so huge. I guess maybe I should watch it to understand, but as much as I want to watch it, I can't bring myself to watch ponies saying stuff about how friendship is magic.

"Pet character" would actually be a fitting term here.
Fluttershy will probably rely on projectiles and such. There are lots of fightan' characters that use animals in battle. I really hope that animation is her ducking stance, though. It looks kinda awkward.
Pets have a consistent presence, right? Which would serve to differentiate them from summons. I don't see how it would differ from a stance though, if a different pet equates to a different moveset which is interchangeable through some method.
I'm pretty sure that's the crouching animation; the RD crouch animation had a very similar skeletal structure (and Angel normally stands on just his hind quarters)

And awp is right about stances, but summoning is still a term that isn't used very often. I was thinking more in terms that pets are versatile projectiles, but they vary in use in games.

Well I don't know about you guys, but I really love Twilight's theme more.
It sounds like a ponytuned version of Blinded by Light.
