I don't know why this cheater so persistent about this map...

But the original #1 is too poor lol



Why ban three times he can come back...
osu can't ban IP? :?

This. Also, I believe most ISP's give out dynamic IP's (as in, a simple reset of your modem = new IP). MAC address or hardware ID bans are much more efficient :p

MAC Address bans are also useless as they can be easily spoofed by programs readily available on the internet. I had this with alterIWNet where I would report cheaters and they'd keep coming back with different 'XUID' (hashed MAC Address)

Cheaters usually can do what honest players can't. Hence such bans can only affect innocent players often, while cheaters can just go all wild.

Which is why peppy said that he can't just go on handling cheaters all the time since it'll be just a waste of time. So he'll only swing his banhammer only at the point the cheating issue is affecting the community. [Link]
