I'm done (as far as I can tell (as usual)) with the easy, normal, hard, and insane versions of the TC : SO Intro Theme, so I'm posting it in complete beatmaps. There doesn't seem to be any Trauma Center fansites with sound clips from the game, and all of the "Video Game Sound Effects" websites only seem to have NES stuff, so I didn't put in the whistle and finish sounds.

Crap, it edited the post.
Uh, I guess I'll post it in Complete Beatmaps the normal way.

Here's what I did:

BPM changed to 165. Please listen to the metronome in timing and observe how much better this sounds than your original setting. Try and get it right next time - takes a bit of practice but results are worth it :).

Set snap divisor to 1/1 (the lowest) and resnapped all notes. And there you have it - your beatmap is now perfectly times (and rankable, in my opinion). Now all that is left is to make some harder versions.

Great song btw. I love the transition bits in the middle. Makes me want to cut someone open... uhh i mean...

Awesome, thanks! I think some of the problem was that I ended up trying to match the BPM to the middle of the song instead of the whole thing.
Hopefully I'll be able to start on the normal difficulty later today.

 WOW!! I never thought that you put the intro of the game! :o

I might be getting a Nintendo Wii for christmas, so I might be getting that game while I'm hoping to get it!

Yeah, TC: SO is kinda short, but fun.

The normal version seems done. I think that I used 165 for the BPM, so the beats should (hopefully) be more in tune with the song.

Double Post, I guess, but (I think) I'm done with hard difficulty, so I'll post it.
The break times are pretty frequent, but I'm not sure whether or not that's a negative thing.

For some reason i had to resnap your notes on hard because they weren't in time with your bpm o.O. I'm not sure how this happened really - they should have all been snapped to 1/2 snap divisor.

Good job on the new difficulties. There are a few things which need some work, and keep in mind I didn't spend tooo long looking at this:

1. Offset sounds better at 498. After changing, go into select mode, hit ctrl-A and *move* the notes on the timeline ever so slightly. You should notice them snap back into place. The alternative to this is just leave them where they are after changing the offset and do the next step.
2. Resnap all notes to 1/2 snap divisor. You don't need any higher for this song. Timing > Resnap All Notes
3. There's a dodgy length slider at 00:10:13. This is just an example, but you will notice there is a tick very close to the end of the slider. This can happen due to overriding the beat snapping, or changing the BPM after already having a slider placed. To fix, click the end-point of the slider (the little grey dot which is the end of the line defining the slider) and drag it slightly. You will see the slider shrink back to the length it should be, and should notice it sounds more in time. A similar case is at 00:22:13, though maybe you like this one longer.. i dunno.
4. Try using some sound additions - you have no whistle/finish notes in this beatmap. If I may suggest, at least find some DR STYLUS! yells and us them as custom sounds in this beatmap (there is a guide in the Feature Requests forum) or maybe some other TC sfx. This would work really cool IMO!

Good luck :). I might have been pretty harsh (though have probably missed some stuff still) but you have to start somewhere, and hopefully this criticism will help you learn the ways of beatmapping!

Thanks again, I'll try to change some of those settings later today, and then probably edit this to post what happened.

Edit: I changed the snap divisor to 1/2, resnapped everything, and fixed most or all of the sliders, and it does seem like it is timed better. I might kinda be getting the hang of the snap divisor, which is pretty good. I'll try to get some custom sounds and add them before I get done with insane difficulty.

Another edit: Insane version is playable, now. I haven't found the whistle and finish sounds yet, so I'll try to find and use those before I post the new .osz file.

A third edit: Alright, I posted it in complete beatmaps.
