My suggestion is for there to either a mod, or a thing in the Osu! creation screen that let you control if a beat requires left click, right click, or both.
If it were a mod then starting at the beginning of the song each note would alternate from right to left click, if you use the wrong one you miss the note.
If it were in the creation screen, then you could just choose which notes have which click settings.
