Learning to use two fingers to click?

Hi,

So I've got to this singletapping: https://osu.ppy.sh/u/9694492

But I'm reaching the limits of what maps are possible with that now, single tap just isn't fast enough. How do I learn to use both fingers to click? I find it so confusing. Are there any maps that train you for it?

It seems my tendency is to click too fast when trying to use two fingers.

Do you mean that you want to go full alternating, or you mean that you want to learn triples/streams?
Anyway, answer to both, play more and practice.

Triples and streams in particular seem to be tripping me up, but I don't know what is best?

Neither is best but both are good for different things. A fork is not better than a spoon.

I had the same problem when I was progressing.
Turns out I was a lil' bitch who just thought that alternating would make me better.
Was wrong.
You only need to alternate taps for specific map types and stacks/streams
Single tapping tends to have more control over your tempo.

Practice maps that require you to alternate if you want to get better at alternating.

Everyone alternates for fast streams, stacked notes, triples etc, although you can generally singletap most maps the rest of the time. If you're having trouble with certain patterns, just practice maps with them until you don't have trouble anymore.

Play this: https://osu.ppy.sh/b/124321 | make sure to crank up hitsound volume.

Pass this and congratulations, you can alternate.

Pay attention to the bar at the bottom of the play field since that can tell you whether or not you're going to fast/slow.

play low star insane difficulties which usually contain triples or short streams, at the start it will be tough but you will get the hang of it after a while. If you use z/x for example and single tap with x, you should play the triples as xzx etc. once you learn how to do triples, it will be way easier for you to improve at streams in general
