My mouse, mousepad, or me messed up?

Ever since yesterday my cursor when playing osu has been bugging out. It jumps in random directions while playing, and even though I can finish songs I have to miss several notes and get only a 20 combo to get there.

I tried switching mice, still happened. I tried switching mousepads, still happened. I tried sitting in different positions to see if I played differently, no difference.

Is there a possibility that for some reason it's the game? Because I can't seem to figure out any other reason. I really thought it could have been the mousepad affecting the laser on the mouse, but after switching mice and mousepads it didn't make a difference, and I REALLY want to play osu...

Also I tried spinning it around outside of the game, and I don't really notice anything. Though it doesn't move half as fast as in osu, and the cursor is smaller so it might be harder to notice.

what mice, mousepad, do you have a stable 250fps minimum in game

stuff that you can do is clean out the sensor and clean out your mousepad

skipping is either due to something in the way of the sensor or it being broken

Also make sure you don't have any other things controlling your cursor plugged into your computer. I had a mouse and tablet plugged in at the same time and the same thing happened while using the tablet or mouse.

okay, you can try this. Go to Control panel, go to mouse, go to pointer options. If you have your 'Enhance Pointer Precision' ticked, untick it. I had a problem that sounds like yours a few months back. Hope this helps!

It's a combination of your mouse, mousepad, and table surface. I've had this problem in the past as well, so I tried a new mouse. Eventually, I went back to my old mouse and figured that it was the table that I was playing on that had caused the jumping problem.
