at what point are you considered "good" at taiko? when you can complete 5 star maps? 6 star? top 5000? top 1000? just curious.

Just my thought.
When u can play high bpm and diff with mods (HD / HR / DT / FL)
or when u can full combo any high diff ranked map with / without mods

There's no correct anwser.
But imo,able to do high end 5*,240+ bpm.
It's just whatever you think is good.

when your pp is bigger than your rank (for taiko - twice bigger)

Interesting, I kinda use that threshold of rank=PP to determine how active each of the player communities are amongst the more active players.

I mean.... it's really up to you what you consider as "good"? There's not going to be one single line where you go from bad to good. Everyone's opinion is going to be different.
Personally, I consider someone "decent" when they can play oni level maps, and "good" when they can do 4.5+ star maps. That's just without any mods though. And, that's just my opinions.
