I was just sitting around and I came up with this idea for having our own font with skins, but are similar to menu backgrounds and stuff, where you need supporter for it. I tossed the idea to one of my friends and they seemed to like it. So if you drop a .ttf or .otf font file into the skin folder with a certain filename, and specify what you want the font to change in skin.ini (ex. chat font only, beatmap selection screen font only, or both). Sorry if I was not clear enough on this, It is a little hard to describe for me but I would love to see something like this for skinning. I feel like it would add just a little more of a personal touch to skins.
