I recently found out that nightcore sound effects can be altered through adding certain sound files to the skin folder.
The sounds files are as followed:
nightcore-kick.wav
nightcore-hat.wav
nightcore-clap.wav
nightcore-finish.wav
If you want to customize your own nightcore kit, simply take the sounds files that you want to use and rename them as above. Make sure the file type is .wav; if you have an mp3 or other filetype, you can convert it using Audacity.
P.S. I did not find any information on the osu sound wiki about nightcore sound files and how they affect the skin. It may be helpful to add information about files like these that are not initially in a skin but will affect it once added.
