Timing Mod :) I'm from #modreqs

Timing
  1. BPM: 175 (because everyone likes the BPM to be rounded)
  2. Offset: 250

Ah, thanks for your time. Are you sure 175 works? When I used it it felt a bit off.

[General]

Don't look for mods if your mapset isn't really finished - BUT this only applies for mappers who already know what they're doing so I'm grateful that you already searched for help :3
You can alter how far your objects should be distanced by pressing alt and using the slider in the top right corner. Most new mappers don't know that and it seems that you are one of them.
Use custom hitsounds - you know how to hitsound your map already, so why not even use your own ones?
Try to start doing easier difficulties - you won't get far with harder ones bc you will always try to use jumps - and that's something that needs a more advanced understanding of mapping
Also use a background by pulling a PNG or JPG into your osu window while editing your map.
Maybe try using an "easier" song to map - this one's fairly hard - espacially in the beginning with the nearly missing baseline - first try to adapt to an already existing one - if you manage to do that you can start creating own rhythms.
Don't do something like this 00:35:563 (1) - it really isn't fun to do as a player
Most Songs have an XXX,000 BPM this one as well, fix it in the timing Tap to just 175,000, also while we're at it Offset is actually 286.

I hope I can help you ^^

Thank you very much, yeah I realised I should try to map easier maps first.

I know this however I was using grid snap the entire time.

Grid Snap doesn't keep distance correct in any way - Use Grid Snap AND Distance Snap - using the smllest grid size also helps a lot (pressing G to alterate).

Using smaller grids is something I didn't know. Thanks! :D

Thanks a lot. This is my first map so I mapped the rhythms more literally but I can see how some of your suggestions work better. :D
