If people who play instruments in real life do better at Osu! than people who don't. Here's what I want you write.

1. Do you play an instrument?
2. What is your accuracy on 5 star beatmaps?*
3. What instruments do you play and for how long?**

An example of an answer:
1. Yes, I play an instrument.
2. 84.37%.
3. I play the drums. I've been playing for 5 weeks.

(Yes, the information you see is true. I've been playing only for 5 weeks, but my drum teachers say I'm a fast learner.)

*If you don't know, view your profile and look under accuracy details.
**You don't have to answer that question if you don't want to. I only need answers to questions 1 and 2.

I did it.

Once I have at least 5 people who can play an instrument and 5 people who can't, I'll show you the results I have. Then I'll do it for 10 then 15 then 20, ect.

The RB drums actually teach you how to play the real drums a little bit, and I should know because the techniques I learn on the real drums work on rock band. But I don't want to count it because:
1. There isn't a foot pedal that opens/closes the hi-hat.
2. Sometimes in real life, you have to hit the drums harder or softer while on rock band all you have to hit it no matter how light or hard.
3. Sometimes on real drums, there are a lot more things on it than the rock band drums.
4. You always have to play open handed on the rock band drums while on real drums most people don't.

People who do play instruments: 88.49% average
People who don't play instruments: 88.83% average

So far, people who don't are winning, but just by a little. I guess people who don't play instruments can still have more rhythm than people who do...

I have a theory. People who do play instruments need to "forget" some of the skill for playing osu! and "replace" some of that skill with their instrument playing skill, but I could be totally be wrong about this.

Also, let's make a topic like this, but with instruments replaced with pancakes. We might get some chocking results!!
Instrument playing is irrelevant.

Well, to be honest, it is really statistically insignificant at the moment. :P
Probably still need more data... it could be extremely possible that having musical knowledge via instruments aren't vital at all. XD
