GeneralUse a second hitsound to have a difference between the kick and the snare. Using the same drum on both isn't that good for playing
Add a snare (your hit-whistle) on bookmarks, and kicks (low drum) on timing points in this image
https://puu.sh/xh2Sz/cbc3358bb2.png(you can find a kick hitsound from pretty much any electronic song, pick what you want)
^ Just doing the kick/snare for the whole song is going to make it seem like the hitsounds are better, when it's really just a basic pattern repeated.
Final Boss00:02:061 (2061|2,2119|3,2176|2,2292|1,2407|3,2465|2,2523|3,2580|0,2638|1,2696|2) - This section really isn't following the music:
00:02:061 (2061|2,2119|3,2176|2) - The first two are the same pitch and on different lanes, but 1st and 3rd are on the same lane and have different pitch. 3rd should at least be a different lane and 00:02:176 (2176|2,2292|1) - should probably be jacks.
00:02:407 (2407|3,2465|2,2523|3,2580|0,2638|1,2696|2,2753|0,2811|3) - These aren't really individual sounds that should be played, notes here are supported by the song but are overdone. Use LNs instead, it still makes it different to the stuff at 00:02:869 (2869|2) - and
00:02:869 (2869|2,3100|1,3330|0,3561|3) - You could try to arrange for pitch relevance
00:05:638 (5638|3,6100|0,6561|3,7023|0) - 00:58:715 (58715|0) - Use 1/4 snap, 1/8 is kinda overdone (unless other mx diffs do it cuz i don't often do this hard)
00:05:753 (5753|2,6215|2,6676|2,6907|2) - Not sure this pattern works, deleting 00:05:753 (5753|2,6215|2,6676|2) - would make the main melody clearer + less repetitive.
^ Apply this to other diffs, especially normal
00:09:446 (9446|2,9561|2,9676|2) - You can't put jacks like this in the same lane for different pitches
00:09:792 (9792|3,9792|0,9850|2,9907|1,9965|0,10023|3,10080|2,10138|1,10196|0) - Same issue as before. Listening the song, there's 1/8 sounds, but the main melody goes 1,2,3,4 and only really has four sounds to map with. Using LNs keeps density/difference as suggested before. Won't bring these up again else gets repetitive
00:13:946 (13946|2,14003|3) - like these 1/8s are fine because there's a clear change on every sound
00:20:407 (20407|3,20407|1,20523|2,20523|0) - Using exact same lanes 1/3 and 2/4 pattern for this long doesn't relect song well and isn't interesting to play. Eg. 00:21:792 (21792|3,21792|1) - changes tone of the song completely but is mapped identical.
+ Jacks don't really fit at all since pitch changes on every note
01:14:984 (74984|3,74984|1,75100|0,75100|2) - ctrl-h would be spicy, I don't see why these ones cant be jacks since the pitch on those are a bit more similar than some of your other jack patterns
same things as previous kiai
Mini Boss00:00:330 (330|2,561|0,676|1,792|2,907|3) - the first pattern and you decided to go up instead of down for PR D:
00:02:061 (2061|0,2176|1,2292|2,2407|3,2523|0,2638|1,2753|2) - this also needs a bit of reorganising because:
00:02:407 (2407|3) - is under emphasised since it's last on the 4 note path
00:02:869 (2869|3,2984|1,3100|2,3215|0,3330|1) - These aren't paired up correctly, 00:02:869 (2869|3,2984|1) - 00:03:100 (3100|2,3215|0) - should be together as your pattern follows offbeat which isn't follow song
00:13:946 (13946|1,14176|2,14407|1,14407|0,14638|3,14869|1,14869|0) - better to just remove hitsounds since doesn't make any sense rn.
00:22:253 (22253|0) - This could easily be an LN section for hard diff D: I tried turning all of the circles into 1/2 LNs and it works pretty well
00:31:484 (31484|0) - I placed notes random for 5 seconds, something like this might work since pretty slow + 1/2 jacks are easy/fun
https://puu.sh/xh3hH/e94a664813.png Would have to apply to a lot of sections though since this is repeated often. Worth it though since it's more fun
01:02:869 (62869|0) - 01:10:253 (70253|2) - Kinda needs two notes since chord progression changed
01:05:061 (65061|1,65176|0) - 01:38:753 (98753|0,98869|1) - ctrl-g, first note shouldn't jump a lane. I think you're doing this too much and there's too many to point out D:
01:28:715 (88715|1,88715|0) - There's no SVs to read, so might be better to have variation, rather than just same 1/2 and 3/4 lanes for this long
01:50:869 (110869|1) - add note
First StageA lot of the 1/4 patterns everywhere need simplifying.
00:00:676 (676|2,907|0) - Why is there so many 1/4 patterns in the opening of a NM? Reduce amount, especially in first parts. Using 1/2 is fine here
00:05:753 (5753|0,6215|2,6676|2,6907|0) - delete, mentioned in mx.
00:09:330 (9330|2) - Add note, downbeat should almost always have a note on it
00:09:676 (9676|3,10138|3) - delete to lower 1/4 patterns used.
00:13:253 (13253|2,13484|2) - Putting two consecutive notes in 1/2 on nm should be avoided always, unless it's being used as a jack.
00:13:369 (13369|3,13830|3) - Delete.
Like, NM you do not have to map every sound, you shouldn't else it's too dense.
00:20:753 (20753|1,21215|3,21676|1) - delete
etc. basically
00:22:023 (22023|0,22138|3) - Again, why is the second note here on the other side D: Emphasis is going to the blue tick note, which has very little sound and decreases emphasis on 00:22:253 (22253|2) - which is donwbeat.
00:22:715 (22715|2,22830|3,22946|0,23061|1) - Again, reducing 1/4 usage. Just use LNs instead for these to make it interesting/different. Using 1/4 streams on all of them is really too much for a NM diff
00:59:176 (59176|0) - no comment, just reduce density
